The Open Tech Summit which we helped initiate last year is coming up in May in Taiwan.

The OpenTechSummit 2009 is taking place in Taipei, Taiwan from May4th to May10th in order to be held close to the OEMs and ODMs companies from the hardware business. Having an Open Source related summit in Asia is a perfect opportunity to exchange about Free Software and Open Source for Western developers.

At the community summit participants will meet international participants and developers to join up with the local community in talks, workshops and development events. Companies are offered opportunities to get in closer contact with free and open source developers and learn about local and international development models of the open source community.
