The Kofi Annan Center of Excellence in ICT (ATI-KACE) on the 17th of July, 2008 in partnership with the mPedigree Network held a Technology Transformation Seminar under the theme: World-Class Innovation Made in Ghana.
OVF Ghana’s Kafui Prebbie as the moderator set the tone for the event by saying that Ghana “Must Innovate or We will Die.”

At the Community Wireless Summit in Maryland in May of this year I met with Lee Thorn of Jhai IT, Ian Howard of Adapted Consulting, Satish Jha of Digital Partners and co founder of the Kofi Annan ICT Centre for Excellence and Ken Dipietro of NextGen Communications.
One of the things we discussed is Low Impact, Lost Cost, Low Power, Ruggedized Computing for Emerging Markets.
OVF has continued to further research the most relevant options for deployment at the WODiV.
